I really love finding pretty beads and combining their metaphysical energies to create pieces that are beautiful but with a purpose. I have a real affection for handmade sterling silver beads from Bali, so you will see them in most of my beaded jewelry.

I started making beaded jewelry about 15 years ago. As I have learned more about the stones and beads in my jewelry I have developed new interests in metal work and other styles of jewelry. So I am shifting my focus. And as I do, I am letting go of a lot of the pieces that I have made in my 'beaded period' at incredible prices.

My First Time...blogging.

This is my first attempt at blogging...so be gentle with me. I just wanted to look at a blog for a new Etsy Street Team I joined today called the Handmade Hustlers, (handmadehustlers.blogspot.com). I had to sign up to see the posts, so here I am.
I met with a group of artists in Reno this afternoon. It was great to meet a bunch of folks passionate about crafting, like myself. We all have stores on the etsy.com site. The point of the group is to join forces and combine our talents to promote ourselves and each other, on etsy.com and in the physical world.
I'm looking forward to making friends and sharing info with them. It is exciting to imagine the things we will accomplish together.
I have a lot to learn about blogging, but I am willing and able.
